      {{England’s relationship with Egypt is… not terrific, to say the least. Not overtly hostile nowadays, but England’s entire ‘I know better, so let me do as I please in your land’ attitude in the late 19th-20th century really built up resentment in the quieter Nation. Even the decision to declare Egypt’s independence was more of a dismissive gesture on England’s part than anything else, and their relationship never really improved after that, culminating in the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, kicking England out from his position in Egypt for good. England’s opinion towards him was somewhere between ‘what a stubborn guy’ and a slightly offended ‘fine, if you don’t want my help, I won’t bother’… regardless of how much ‘help’ he actually was, in reality. In modern times, he prefers to keep his distance and act formally but impersonally towards the Mediterranean Nation, and while their relations have improved in recent years, they’re certainly not on hobby-exchanging terms yet!}}
