When the young queen lit the fire she stepped out from behind the curtain and laid eyes upon the tiny brunette. Mal didn’t bother getting dressed when she woke up. She knew Henry was with Emma for the week so they had the house to themselves. She walked down to the kitchen to see Regina in just a shirt and panties. The blonde wrapped her arms around her slender waist and nuzzled against her. “Good morning.”

Regina was sitting at her desk in her office at the back of the house. Mal knew that she shouldn't disturb her while she was in there but it had been eating away at her all day. Normally this was a day that should would spend locked up in a room by herself and not emerge until the following sun up, but she needed to tell Regina. The rattle was in her back pocket as she walked into the office. "Regina? Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"I'm just getting a glass of water. Do you want something?" She asked as she tied her robe and walked back over to the bed to kiss Regina.

Malinda needed to be anywhere but the library. It was the most boring job in the world. No one ever came in. No one cared about the library, or it's stupid broken clocktower, or any of it. So come lunch time Mal wandered across the street to Granny's. It was packed. The only seat available was a stool next to the mayor. With a shrug she sauntered up to the counter and sat down.

"Good afternoon madame mayor. You're looking lovely as ever." She smiled and looked over a menu.
