For: @therawend Where: Thera's place
There is always a comfort to be drew from the quiet familiarity of this place, no matter how new it was to her. The scent of Thera's brewing and plants was just as welcoming as her grandmother's and Mila can't help feeling at ease just being near. It's a comfort she desperately needs as Madison's words replay on her mind, haunting, mocking.
Mila feels stupid, and angry as she remembers. But the moment her fingers knock on the door and the sound of footsteps reaches her ears, she remembers to breathe. To calm and look back to the years behind her, and not let this one incident bring her down. A smile growing on her lips, small as it is, the moment Thera enters her vision. "Hi ma petit fleur... hope it doesn't bother you that I show up uninvited." The words flow easy from her mouth, soft. "I found I didn't quite want to be at the apartment tonight and your company sounded like a much better option..." It felt strange, looking donw, to find herself so shy around someone she's known for so long but she realizes she's never been exceptionally good at sharing her feelings. "... and I think I could use one of your wonderful teas."
