Here’s a link for the Blu-ray of Jane Russell’s classic, THE REVOLT OF MAMIE STOVER (1956) in which she plays a prostitute (for 1950s censorship reasons, she’s portrayed as a “Dance Hall Hostess”) who builds a personal fortune by turning tricks in Hawaii during WW2.  Directed by Raoul Walsh and co-starring Richard Egan as the man Mamie loves, Joan Leslie as the respectable woman who is Mamie’s romantic competition and Agnes Moorehead as Mamie’s boss at the dance hall (aka the madame of the whorehouse).
