Finally, the subspace series.
The Subliminal Mindscape.
Siviwe Binase.
There has been very little planning done in writing this.
For once inspiration has hit after years of grief. It has come with the unusually divine events that living nomadically has brought me.
Have you ever dived into the mind of a being who lives subconsciously conscious?
What does that even mean? I muttered to myself in the background.
And as usual I came with an attempted answer to this phenomenon.
To be here. To be out. To be within. To not exist. To be fully aware.
The progressive practice of Livity. The realisation that the life force, is a blessed benefit given to us by Jah, exists within and flows through all living things.
We are apart of the interconnected web of life. The web is spun by the events that we live. We can have an active effect on the rippling awareness of life by living life fully present.
Whilst contemplating this cosmic mortality these corresponding conferences of internal debates add to the weight of Proctors rocks, that lay to punish my esoteric philosophies. Concurrent coincidences scratch the back of my mind.
Why do we shun those who are brave enough to express their distaste with this era?
“I guess you could say I set myself apart from the mainstream because mainstream feels like acid on self-inflicted adornments. Everyone has a theory, many wanna belong so they follow the most common trend of the century. Look at Freud for goodness’ sake, and I am overtly sexually outspoken? My arse boet! I have been calling bullshit on this whole scheme since I was a preteen. It just took growing up to realise my truth. And to not doubt my essence.”
How are you?
- “Stretched out.”
- “…like the vast ocean, how I feel is a mystery.”
Are you sad?
- “What is sadness?”
- “Pleasure is relative. Why must affection be interrogated? Have we lost touch that much that we live in confusion and uncertainty, doubting our very present existence?”
- “To specify an inherited pain, is to drain the marrow from the living specimen, leaving it to crumble by affirming its inevitable fatal flaw. Death. Asking me if I am sad is inconsequential.”
The screen fades into darkness and the static ringing in my ears deafens all my surroundings.
