elders with love in their eyes

a warm, hearty meal

painting and getting it all over yourself

The Ego is NOT Bad

From my own observation:

The Ego is always alive and never dead. 

It comes in different forms and expressions. 

Imagine a room. 

One side is lit, the other side dark. 

Your standing in the door way, and you have the choice to move to either side.

Regardless of which side you chose, YOU are still alive. 

YOU are Ego. Living and breathing it. 

Learning to utilize and ascend the darker parts of your Ego may be beneficial in understanding and coming closer to yourself.

Ego is what drives competition, passion, success, expression... and if we listen closely,

You can hear the whispers of turmoil begging to be nurtured. It wants to be apart of the stuff that matters.

Lovey-dovey Should Be The New Trend.

When people associate a lack of intimacy in a relationship with maturation of two individuals from "infatuated" interaction; it can be disheartening.

Yes, the rose-colored glasses do fall as time passes.

The need for constant stimulation diminishes.

The desire for sustained sexual interplay lessens.  

However,

Expressive appreciation for one another shouldn't be avoided.

Quality time should still be enjoyed.

Immunity towards affection may indicate underlying turmoil.

Lack of communication may represent uncertainty in many forms. 

Honestly, 

Being in touch with your feelings and expressing them (whether it be towards someone or yourself) isn't a bad thing! Some feel the need to suppress themselves.

In my experience, it can do more harm than good. It’s a part of you, the stuff that matters.

Ensoul Matter

Buhner’s ardent approach to language emphasizes the power of “invisible happenings” between life forms in our world. He takes you into a world deeper than your psych and shows you how to access a “golden thread” of creativity. That thread leads a writer into touching the vein that holds blood containing the essence of “wild poetry created from the dreaming of Earth”.

In other words, the stuff that matters.

Buhner focuses on environmental and physical studies attributed to self-healing. In this book, he branches out of such topics and addresses the imperative talent a writer must possess. That is, to build a connection with your readers one must learn how to become in-tune with their true essence and allow the words to guide creation instead of directing it. By accessing that part of ourselves, it gives you an ability to connect with your reader. You get to show that you understand and embrace everything they are; cultivating genuine interest of the most authentic part of their being.

My desire is to bring that concept into awareness and emphasize the value it holds. I’d like to implement the morale hidden within his teachings into everyday life.

To me, it’s part of the stuff that matters.
