I layed the dark pink silk tie over his eyes before we walked outside to make him inable to see what was to come.We normally only use it in the bedroom, but thiswas a special occasion, it was our fifth year anniversary. I had several surprises for him. I lead him out to the car. We are driving to The Redwoods State Park for a late night picnic. We were sneaking in.
"Don't You dare try to remove that tie." I said to him. He giggled as he slowly moved his hand backdown, across the console and over to mine.
-Jack-
The lack of one sense was making all of his others heightened, exciting him, making his heart race. Mark was always so dominant to him, always taking the lead.
"Where are we going daddy?" I whined, giggling at the end.
"Shhh" he whispered, pulling my hand up to his stubbly face and kissing my knuckles.
-Mark-
We had just arrived, I turned off the car, got out and opened Jack's door for him, helping him out, leading him to the site I had decided on earlier in the week, and set up earlier in the day. I sat him down on the blanket. firebugs began to surround us. I pulled off his tie, leaving my face and inch from his where a firebug had landed on his nose. I started into his eyes and lightly planted a kiss onto his lips.
"I love you my dear." I said, smiling, letting him know how serious I was.
-Jack-
My heart raced. I stared into his beautiful dark brown eyes, they looked like swirled melted chocolate that I could just swim in.
-Mark-
I reached into my pocket still staring into his eyes. I pulled out the little blue box. I open it up to revel the gold braided ring. I pull it out and put it on his finger. He doesn't even flinch. I place another kiss on his lips.
"Honey pie, I love you. We are a perfect fit for each other. I think we will be together forever. Will you marry me?" I said, nose to nose with him.
He had tears running down his face, he looked down and saw the ring and tackled me. The fireflies left the vicinity as he fell on top of me, crying, kissing me, heart in sync.
