The third path.

Our perspective in life travels one of three paths: The view from the first path only allows us to see the negativity in the world. We see so much of it that we determine that we are stuck in a downward spiral and the future is bleak. The second path only travels the places that are bright and cheery. This path is the one that makes us feel awesome about ourselves and the world around us. We see nothing but awesomeness and a bright future. The third path is the hardest to find and often gets grown over with vegetation from too few travelers. It's actually a path between two paths. It sees enough from each to understand that not everyone is on path one and not everyone is on path two. Third path walkers find there is a balance to it all and simply walking one or the other doesn't complete the picture. Walking the third path isn't easy and takes the focus of a tight-rope walker. But those who walk the third path find opportunity to create bridges for those they find tired and weary along paths one and two. Third path walkers see those on the road of negativity and provide empathy. They also see those who walk the road of positivity and inspire compassion. We should all be thankful for those who walk the third path.
