Drabble list - Pet || Jo & Adam
Jo had no idea why she was doing this, what had he ever done for her? She sighed, chuckling at herself, she was at the pet store, trying to find Adam Milligan a furry little friend. The poor boy had been moping around The Roadhouse for a couple weeks now and she really thought a dog or cat might help. “Give him something to take care of.” She muttered to herself, eyes scanning the glass separating her from a bunch of slobbery tongues. “May I help you with something?” Asked the only other person in the store. “My names Ian, by the way.” The boy flashed her a flirty smile. “My friend is a little down, and I think he needs a dog. But the damn thing cannot be pissing and chewing on everything in my bar.” Jo said, getting down to business and ignoring his flirtations. After Ian had showed her every dog in the store, Jo finally decided on a beautiful black lab puppy. With the pup, dog food, bowl, and bed in tow, Jo made her way back to the roadhouse. “Adam?” She called out, hoping he wouldn’t hate her for this.
