{ thewhitehairedshedwarf } - The little boy dashed toward Thorin with a big grin on his face as he waved a wooden sword. "Adad! Look what amad had uncle Bofur make me! Now I have a sword like you." the little prince, Frerin, smiled happily up at his king father. The king and his wife had named the child after Thorin young brother who had been killed in the battle for Moria.
Thorin chuckled as the little dwarrow ran up brandishing a wooden sword. Not fancying being smacked in the face with it, he waited until the toy weapon had stopped being waved around before he bent and scooped up his son. “That is a very fine sword,” he praised, holding Frerin on his hip with one arm while lifting his free hand to catch the wooden blade between his fingers. “But you can’t just go waving it around, you know. You can learn to use this so that you’ll be ready when you get a proper blade once you’re older.”
