Most often people will say, "I don't know God's will for my life". However, this scripture--and several scriptures like it--clearly express God's will for our lives. In this particular verse we see that part of His will for us is that we give thanks in all circumstances. There are several reasons why God would want thanksgiving to be a part of His will for our lives beginning with the fact that staying in a constant attitude of thanksgiving keeps us out of a negative head space where we are unappreciative. Furthermore, we have to remember that God is on control of everything. He's manufactured and orchestrated every area of our lives therefore we should be thankful into God that He's brought us to and will lead us out of any circumstance that is painful or uncomfortable. Be blessed and give thanks, saints!
