Welcome Back

It'd been a long time since Pride had been to Hell. Since crushing the rebellion in his circle, he'd spent nearly all of his time on Earth, but it was time to go back.

He moved through the his own circle, and through the circles of his brothers. He poked around, asking higher demons about the state of other Sins, and found that there was not much to learn. Apparently, Gluttony had stirred, as had Lust, but the most interesting news was that of his Father.

Lucifer had stirred. Perhaps it was time to pay Father a visit.

The youngest Sin slipped through shadows, sliding his way into Father’s home until he finally laid his eyes on the Father of Sins. 

“Lucifer.” The smirk was tangible in his voice. “Long time no see. I assume you’ve missed me?”

Lucifer ever so slowly came into Lust’s home. He was nervous and it was showing. But.. he had to see his children sometime, and of all of them, he was sure he wronged Lust the least. 

“How.. How are you? I had heard that you recently became more active.”

Lust had been on his hands and knees, scrubbing the floor of the entryway, when Lucifer had wandered into his home. He had been so silent that the Sin had practically jumped when he spoke.

“Ohhh~ You frightened me~” he said, placing a clawed hand to his chest. After dropping the cleaning rag, he straightened to look up at Lucifer. “I’ve been....fine, Father~...Recently woke up from a very long nap~....It has been quite some time since I’ve seen you~”

Hello Father~ Please, please come in~

"What makes you think I want help? I do not need it. Assaulting you, on the other hand.. " He glared at Temp from under his bangs. "I came here to do that. I was hoping the mere sight of you would drive me to blind rage. Apparently not." He let out a string of quiet curses. He decided to leave. Maybe he could find a few imps to beat up. Or someone who wanted to brawl him to try and take the throne.

...Right. Okay then, go away.

 Oh, that's me, isn't it? Sort of.

The Devil averted his gaze casually after a little nod and a curve upwards of his lips' corners, perusing his newspaper instead. Enthralling section on some national panic today.

Hershel's experience with demons was not something he'd call neccessary knowledge. The fact that he was slowly learning more and more about demon heirarchy and rule structure made him more nervous than it did relax him. Him knowing more meant he was spending more time around them, and it was bad enough knowing that Gluttony still had reason to stick around. He was currently curled up in front of his house - Nate half-crawling, half-walking around the front lawn, giggling in apparent joy. She wasn't really doing much more than chasing bugs and digging holes, though. "You know, I wonder how long it's going to take Gluttony to find out that you'lre probably part... him. Never, hopefully. I think I quite like not seeing him." He blinked, then twitched his tail, shifting it to redirect her back towards him - so she wouldn't inadvertantly run off. "Actually, come to think of it, I don't think I want you to be like him. I don't really like the idea of him trying to take care of you. Might teach you to eat things like he does. If he doesn't make me do it for him."

"No point, really. Just me wondering what you actually look like. Thank you for sparing a moment of your time."
