Rosalie had heard so many stories of the infamous Seattle Grace Hospital turned Seattle Grace Mercy West, turned Grey-Sloan Memorial, so when she received her internship there, she took it. She’d been in the halls so many times before, but it was different when it was your job instead of following your family around.
Walking through the hospital, she made her way to the locker room to get ready for her first shift and learn who her resident would be. Rosalie wasn’t there looking for any help, so if she was honest, she hoped that her resident wouldn’t have any preconceptions about her. While she was pulling on her white coat, she glanced over to see someone near her and caught the name on her coat. Sloan-Torres, she knew that name and very well. Her aunt was still good friends with Callie and Mark had been the closest thing to a dad to her.
Rosalie hadn’t seen Sofia in a long time though and she didn’t know whether or not she’d remember or want to talk. She had skipped the intern mixer, there was no point in getting to know her fellow interns, residents, or attendings. She knew most of them on a personal level already and wanted to avoid people making that connection.
“Hey,” Rosalie said quietly.
