I can't stop thinking about the trailer and Qiao Ling finding out what Lu Guang did for them. For her and Cheng Xiaoshi. Imagine how she must feel. Obviously there's shock and confusion, but also like.

This is a 23 or so year old woman who has done so much for Cheng Xiaoshi. She sees him as her little brother, and when he brought back Lu Guang, she just kinda accepted that she had another brother. For so long, she was their older sister, the one who would do anything for them. Imagine how painful it is to find that one of your little brothers went through something you couldn't help him with. But imagine also how almost terrifyingly good it feels that he didn't even hesitate to say that he couldn't live without you. Like her love did not mean nothing - it meant everything, and now she also knows that he loves her and Cheng Xiaoshi just as much as she loves them. That they'd sacrifice everything for her as she kinda has for them. Now, she can help because he trusted her enough to break down in front of her and tell the truth.

I, okay so the moment I liked devotions the most ever was when Mapic had Zams shield during the war for spawn. And the moment I liked devotions the second most was when Zam came back and saw Mapic completely defeated. I think I liked it alot, cause it felt like Mapic had his guard down for once, letting Zam see his full hurt and loss. And it broke Zams heart. To see her mapic, her other half, so destroyed. I like how... almost hopeless Mapic can get. He experiences loss after loss, but struggles to pick himself up after (kinda unlike Zam who is a train on a track most of the time and was born getting up after a defeat). Anyways, Zam had been particularly honest and open up to that point, so it was nice to see that openness reciprocated. That conversation was kinda the complete opposite of their pre-break talk at the pumpkin field about Zam "using Mapicc". Mapic had no more use here, and Zam still wanted him. I dont think Mapic took that message away, but because Zam was back he picked himself up to fight with her. Devotions against the world. I think thats how they like it.

HE’S A LITTLE BATTERED AND BRUISED, taking a beating from his last mission with the x-men. no wonder he needed a trip to the healing gardens... though he wasn’t expecting to be greeted by the sight of her when he woke up. gracefully as ever, she hands him his visor and he feels safe again, opening his eyes to see her sitting right there like an angel in white. 

he knows what she’s asking for --how’d their mission go, the whole reason they were taken off the island and jetting to japan of all places. but after the day he just had...he’s tired. for once, he feels like duty can wait as he crawls into her arms and rests his head into her lap. 

he doesn’t want to regret his job...but it does cost him so much valuable time with the people he loves. ❛ yeah i found what i’m lookin’ for. ❜ he smiles a little, resting against her and wishing this moment could stretch out just a bit longer. ❛ you’re a sight for sore eyes, emma frost. just the person i needed to see. ❜
