this is mostly just an idea dump doc rn I don't have anything decent to share but it's an attempt to reconcile Sarevok's characterisation in bg3 with who he actually is in the first two games by switching out Bhaal for a Gorion's ward who ascended at the end of TOB but took on Bhaal's name, à la Mystra/Midnight!
