Reasons I need to keep going to Switchfoot concerts, even though I've seen them twice already this year.
1. Jon hasn't traded his fedora for mine. 2. There have been no aftershows. 3. No drum-jumps yet. 4. No taking any of my stuff and wearing or playing with it one stage, although it's happened to someone else every time I go see them. 5. I haven't gone to one alone, and as weird as that sounds, I'd love to go to one alone. 6. I haven't gone with Ren, and I need to go with Ren. 7. It'd be nice to sit outside afterwords and talk with complete strangers about how amazing Switchfoot is. I haven't done that yet. 8. I just really like Switchfoot, and I will go to every show possible. 9. Maybe to add more photos onto my concert album on Facebook. 10. I'd love to give the guys a hug. 11. I haven't gotten to do the meet-and-greet yet! 12. No photos of me with the guys. I need to go to more shows to get said photos. 13. To personally request a song. 14. Dare I say? (I've seen this on Youtube) To be invited on stage so I can play Jon's guitar while he ingores my fangirling and jams on his Harmonica. Although I've only seen it done at a solo concert, when he wasn't with the boys. 15. So I can have plenty of Switchfoot concert stories to tell you guys (AND EVERYONE ELSE). 16. So I can keep screaming my head off. 17. I enjoy the moment I always take to close my eyes and just fully feel the music, the bass, the cheers, Jon's voice... It's unity. I'd love to feel that again and again. 18. The money supports them, right? 19. To feel that 'california campire' feeling all the way here in Missouri. 20. To see the intensity with which Switchfoot rocks. Seriously. Anyone who says they're less awesome live than on track, I don't agree at all!!! 21. And really, Jon gets into it. All of the guys do! They rock with us, and they make sure each concert is different from the last. They make us feel united, unbound from our sucky situations. At their concerts, I just fall into a pit of bliss, and all of my problems go away for a while. they give hope. They give meaning. And it's amazing to see. 22. To hear Jon make more jokes about Missouri not having an ocean. NOT IN THAT ORDER! I need to keep going to see Switchfoot. Three times a year sounds lovelyyyy.
