I'm currently hyperfixated on the lakes by @mrsnancywheeler and I decided to make a playlist dedicated to Conway because I relate to him too heavily-

Songs are in order of how I imagine his story (falling in love, seeing reader with Finnick, allowing her back in, and then realization during the games leading to his death~ bonus points if his death date was on the 30th)

ive been making up past hunger games victors as a hobby and inventing district culture is fun.

i made up a wedding tradition for district 8 where girls will save spare scraps of fabric and ribbons and whatever over their youth and sew it into a wedding dress which will then be unstitched and turned into a marriage quilt <3 and the boys save up to buy an expensive piece of ribbon that the fiancee will use as a girdle for her wedding dress <3 like the girdle of aphrodite or venus ig since panem is neo roman. adaptation of a girl’s hope chest and a wedding ring<3

i gave district 1 an informal caste system :3 its very evil. everyones trying to get to the highest caste but the highest caste isnt even good! its a potemkin village so that when capitol citizens visit for business they dont see any poor people ew

also the training centres of districts 1, 2, and 4 are called a ludus (plural ludi i suppose?) because neo roman :P its also very evil its like what if we got all the school bullies and made them fight each other for the chance to fight and beat a bunch of starved 14 year olds

ALSO LEGACY TRIBUTES katniss mentions the children of victors are suspiciously reaped a lot, plus gloss n chasmere in the 75th. so in 1, 2, and 4 i think this could translate beautifully into fucked up hunger games dynasties #generational trauma. its like those insane american footballers who raise their sons into The Football but it just makes them alcoholics with CTE

my new brain distraction is making up hunger gameses and currently im making a district 3 kid who jerry rigs a shinzo abe style electric homemade gun out of his dead district partner’s tracker and possibly some kind of robotic snake muttation. he’s beetee’s mentor :)

some other hungo game OCs. district 12 girlie who volunteers in the 26th hunger games cos her friend got voted to fight in the first quarter quell and she wants to murder people in revenge. district 4 legacy tribute whose insane dad trained him to be the perfect killing machine but he’s literally a nice boy. district 9 girl who uses a scythe cos thats funny to me. district 10 boy with a huge complex about death and cattle and factory farms and blood etc im thinking of giving him a cowboy hat. district 3 boy with gun is my favourite though
