Booked and SHOOTING!
I've booked enough things at this point to not get too excited until we're actually shooting it. Today's that day!
I auditioned for not one but two pilots written and produced by Vince Freeman this year -- once in the spring for a role I didn't get, but he followed up with an email telling me he liked what I did with the character. In the fall, he sent me his new script. I was cast in the role of a snorting, delusional shoplifter. A proud day.
Excited to update the website/resume/IMDb with my new commercial representation!
I had to make an audition tape for a gig as a content creator, showing off any skills I may have: PROOF that I'm semi-athletic/entertaining.
2013 Roundup
At the year's end, I always like to look back and see if I accomplished anything new or exciting during the past 12 months.
Here are a few highlights from 2013:
I signed with new theatrical and commercial agents at Allensworth Entertainment + found a home in the master class at The Performance Studio with Sandra K. Horner.
I watched my first entirely improvised performance in a comedy short called "CLEAVAGE" on FunnyOrDie.com ...and didn't die!
I was able to purchase a movie that I acted in ("CLEAR BLUE") on iTunes.
I earned my first Writer, Director, and Producer credits on IMDb for "HOUSESITTER" !!!

Booked!
After reading twice for every lead female role on the web series (tentatively) entitled 'DICKS', I finally booked one! I will be playing SAMANTHA, the one true love of our lead "dick" Alex. The project is written/directed by the very talented Yoshua Shelton, who will be leading his team of NYFA grads on this endeavor. I very much look forward to getting to know them all at our first cast and crew meeting this week!
Producers have urged Yosh to come up with a more 'google-able' title, because, as it is, the average fan would be hard-pressed to find our web series when video-searching 'dicks'.

Just booked the lead female role in a romantic drama written and directed by USC SCA alum Reggie Brass. Although Reggie and I did not know each other, nor did we have any mutual friends at USC, the 'Trojan family' spirit runs deep. ...Or I just nailed the auditions.
