Ahh..Cladbridge on Stowe. Another world by doublemedion694. This is another of the beautiful worlds I chose to send part of my culled population from Thicket. I wanted to send them to worlds that had a similar aesthetic so could logically be close to each other in the mystical Sim Universe..LOL! Also I really, really love European Architecture. Half Timber Tudor to be more specific! I set about placing down my families so in the next few pictures you may see some familiar faces!
Abdul Russ with his wife Rene playing some music at the village hall. Along with Susanna Kidd and Tanya Schipano.
Kirby Cho...doing I don’t know what along that fence. He is currently an expectant father!
Raheem Coon checking out the local library.
Joel Spaulding got called away from his chess game to give a singing telegram to Rene Russ at the Cannon residence. Somehow he managed to catch himself on fire and she just watched in amusement then peaced out of there! LOL!! Thankfully Darrel was at home so I switched households and he put out the flames.
Man that was a close call! I almost lost an OG Thicket townie on the first night!
There are a ton of pictures from this world because I wanted to check in on all my old Thicket sims so I’ll get around to posting a second part of this at some point!
Farewell to Thicket for now! I couldn’t leave without sharing some happy pictures from Britta and Rian’s wedding! As per usual, the actual live wedding was a complete cluster with guests that didn’t show or ditched before the ceremony and people changing in and out of formal wear, but I got a couple of decent pictures. I did have trouble with posed pictures. Namely, that the best man, Rodrigo Villareal kept getting prompted to go to work so he would literally unpose and dash for the door! So I didn’t get any full wedding party pictures :( People unposed and fell through floors as usual. The general bugginess of posing pictures is why I always use a separate save for pictures. I don’t want to corrupt my played game! Anyway! Enjoy!

Sisters! Britta and Matron of Honor, Lara.
The bride. Haha, it’s been so long since I’ve used poses I forgot to take the headlines off, but this is totally appropriate! I hardly slept the night before my wedding!
Some lovely candids from the actual ceremony. If you look closely you can see Rodrigo running off to work! Oh Dear!
More from the ceremony and Britta admiring her ring autonomously! How cute!
Rian got flowers from Lynne Beckwith! I guess I’ll allow it. I’ll call it a wedding present, not a flirt :)
Waiting to cut the cake!
The guests are clearing out, including Lara heading back to the Fire Station!
Gosh, I’ve gotten sporadic! I actually played my game last week, but I didn’t manage to compile my screenshots until last night... So I have at least a couple of days worth of gameplay to post! I decided to follow Corinne and Randal rather than flit around the neighborhood to see how they’re settling in after leaving their respective partners. And...
Yep. Having a baby tap dance on your bladder can really suck, huh?
Umm..talk about two becoming one! My game was super glitchy, probably because I hadn’t touched it in so long!
Corinne decided to visit the museum before heading off to work.
Randal stayed home and painted this??? I’m not quite sure I’ve ever seen a cloud wearing a bow, but it was enough to increase his painting skill and earn him a promotion in his art career so yay!
As he chatted on the phone and I admired his work of art in the background I got a notification that Dora McPhearson had given birth!
To my surprise, she had twins!!! That has NEVER happened sporadically in my game before! I dashed over to add a second crib to their nursery and get pictures of the babies!
Meet Lyndsey and Jill, the newest members of the McPhearson household!
I popped back over to the Stark household and found Randal drinking alone in the empty Yellow Dog Tavern while Corinne works the night away. I will probably check back in with them in the last week of the playthrough too! Ta ta for now stark household!
I’m going to be honest, I haven’t even opened my game in a couple of weeks! I’ve been too busy both in my personal life and with the second draft of the book. It’s. Going. To take. FOREVER!! I bought an actual writing software to help with the process and it has. I no longer have files all over my desktop I have to keep switching to. It’s all in one program and I can pull it up all on one screen. It did take me DAYS, however, to transfer and reorganize all of my research and character portraits, story arcs, all that jazz. Anyway, I have finally started to actually rewrite the entire book, scene by scene and I decided I’d share some random pictures from test playing in Sao Paten. Unfortunately, those pictures appear to have somehow corrupted and I have since cleaned out my sims 3 files because I do that from time to time. So anyway, enjoy some random scenery pictures from Thicket that I don’t believe I’ve shared before.
Shonna was up and at the beach first thing in the morning. I wish she could be a lifeguard for the summer, but I don’t think there’s a way to really do that since she’s a teen. :/
The boys were off to the Kringleman Plaza for some treats and games.
Shonna was on the computer at the beach playing games instead of swimming.
I decided to drop in on Jackie and found our illustrious Fire Department once again in a rush to respond to the fire alarm that was going off! Yeah..they all look really concerned, don’t they? And where was Jackie? Upstairs playing Fooseball of course! Finally good ole Cale McPhearson took off to put out the fire. Maybe that’s why he’s the highest ranking fire fighter in Thicket..hmm..
Oh great! Thelma Mendez is up to her old tricks! And stealing from Pete Dexter!? He probably bought whatever Starry Hangers are with embezzled money anyway.
Bahahaha! Apparently, any publicity is good publicity!
Well, Shonna is home from the beach. Watching TV now.
Jackie, Jackie, Jackie..I’m not surprised.
Well, this is not a bad thing!
With the Mora’s pretty well settled in whatever they were doing, I took the opportunity to move Joline Foster and Domingo Runyon into the new house in Daisy Grove for play testing. What’s the first thing Dom did? Try to make friends with the zombie..insert facepalm here... Well at least the house is functional.
I moved Rasheed Schumacher in with Bobbi Li after Randal left because he was just living with Rodrigo and Andrew and room was tight. Apparently, the game thought they had plenty of room to adopt a second child!
Hahaha! How much do you want to be that fire earlier was at Brennan’s home?
I actually played through a day with the Mora household a couple of days ago, but as I was getting the screenshots in order I realized that I forgot to take my customary pictures of their house! So here are some random scenery pictures I got while following around the Mora children! Gosh I’m getting disorganized!
These were all taken around the Theater and Arcade area of Thicket. The kids were out on their own enjoying the first evening of summer! I’ll hopefully have the actual gameplay posted in a few days :)
Oh my gosh! Can it really be the last day with the McPhearson family!? It’s still before sunrise and Cale is already off to work. Scott is sleeping and Dora is where else...her rocking chairs!
I had to take one more picture because Lao was sleeping on Scott’s dirty laundry..lol!
Dora ate left over birthday cake...breakfast of champions there!
Scott got up and worked on his homework before leaving for school.
Aww..Dora feeling her belly.
I popped on over to the Mora household because they’re up next in rotation and I was getting bored. Well nice to see that Corinne and Randal are still sneaking around together. They don’t seem to concerned about getting caught!
I hopped over to the firestation to find Cale working out.
Geesh what a boring last day with the McPhearsons.
Until Dewey Foster blocked the door to the bathroom and Cale PEED HIMSELF! Bahahahaha! Poor guy! I sent him straight home as discreetly as I could to shower.
Dora was busy making Goopy Carbonara while Scott did some more homework. I kept trying to get his face, he didn’t look thrilled.
Aww..look at that cute little profile!
All cleaned up and ready for dinner!
Dora was already off to bed, meanwhile, Scott relaxed after completing homework by watching Soap Opera’s..or is that a chick flick..who knows!
Goodbye McPhearson’s! I’ll pop in when Dora gives birth! We’re off to our final week of Thicket with the Mora Household!
