honestly it makes me scared to think that maybe ishida just retconned hide back into the story and never gave him TOO much thought but after "killing" him and seeing the response of so many people that loved him he decided to bring him back. like he's made to be such an important character with little to no development?? the fact that info about him was shoehorned in the end just rubs me in all the wrong places. (altho two dads?? two dads!!)
i think Ishida just wanted to end the series tbh I think if Ishida really wanted to kill Hide then he wouldn’t have been ambiguous. Like look what he did with Kaya an Enma which he totally killed off (really i didn’t feel any ambiguity) and brought them back. I think he had intended but it didnt work out
