Imagine if Thief King’s village actually kinda had the millennium items powers before being melted down, like it was minor version and just a handful but they had them. (Lets be honest we have girls turning into dragons this isn’t really too big of a stretch)
But imagine if Thief King’s mother had the Necklaces ability. And before Thief King was even born she knew the hard life he was destined to have, the dark path he was too take, but she also saw far enough to know about Ryou Bakura, so when she had him, despite Bakura being a Japanese name and a word she only heard in her visions, she named her child that. Thief King Bakura.
Thus we get 3 Bakura’s running around the Yugioh time line.
