Since Azkaban Scabior didn’t particularly enjoy using the elevator. Or being in narrow places in general, but oh well, he had to deal with it and so he did, after all the rides didn’t take long anyway. At this point, he didn’t even mind or so he thought.
Absentmindedly he sorted the papers he was meant to drop off at the Auror Department which looked a lot different than it used to and also managed the Snatchers. The elevator stopped, the door opened and Scabior rolled his eyes so hard it almost hurt when he noticed the Malfoy brat entering.
“Well, ain’t this a pleasure —— ”
Scabior’s snarky remark was cut off when the elevator suddenly rattled and stopped anew. First, he didn’t think much of it and expected the ride to continue anytime ( perhaps a memo got stuck somewhere again ) and was merely annoyed; until the lights began to flicker.
The Snatcher was starting to feel a little uneasy, but masked it skillfully with even moreannoyance and looked up at the flickering lights. “What the fuck is this?”
Draco greeted the other man with a knowing smirk, delighted at the immediate irritation his presence seemed to cause him. Surely he knew his father worked for the ministry--though he has speculated that the snatcher and the elder Malfoy got along far better than Draco did with Scabior. Still, he can’t be too surprised that he’s here now.
“O h, what an absolute delight~” He response with similar enthusiasm. Though when the lights began to flicker, Draco glanced up, scowling up at them. “This bloody place is falling apart.” He growls to himself. “Brand new offices, but they can’t afford simple elevator maintenance?” He comments. His agitation was evident too, though, Scabior seemed far more irritated by the situation. “Relax...they’ll have it fixed and you’ll finally be free of my exhaustive presence.” He assumes, at least, that is the reason he seems to upset.
