OOC: Well I most certainly do not thing they are garbage! You’ll find Percival and I have very different opinions in that regard. I like em. They’re good people over all. We clash, a lot. Think we’ve hurt each others feelings more than a couple times over the past year but we always manage to make amends and come out a little bit better on the other side. They’re supportive and encouraging. A talented story writer and a lot more open minded than some might think. They’re charitable and wear their heart on their sleeve. They’re genuinely good. Which is probably why we find ourselves at odds at times. Lets be honest WrA. I am not genuinely good >.> So for every time we butt heads, I apologize. I do truly adore the time we spend enjoying each others company.

i love living near tk maxx omg. we found a huge bottle of flaxseed oil; we’ve been wanting for a while. (anyone know other good sources of omega oils for veggies / vegans?) lovely walk with my love - we visited his old home, had a picnic in the park, went for seafront walk. talked a lot about important things. i love that he loves love like i do, (it’s been easy for me to feel really alone with that; i love romance so much). and we’re both sick of football.

So, a thing.

So yeah my whole not RPing much lately. Obviously some other RL stuff has happened that just took precedence which does pay a factor into it. But there is something else that was sort of the root of it all and I just want to get it out there. Mostly because this is tumblr and I wanna vent to the world and I’m feeling extra foul in general today. So if you’re not down to read my BS just keep on scrollin’ my peeps.

So! a few weeks ago now I was told by an individual of status and influence that my character (Warlocky boii) and the RP I invested in was unwelcome and unwanted by them and a great many others. I have no intention of naming names cuz I ain't no snitch. But I was told that they, and others, would do anything they could to avoid RP involving or related to Percival. The conversation was finished with the statement that my alts were great (my alts are boring and have little story or personality, really) and that they were welcome. But my warlock who has had all the love and development put into him over the past 2-3 years was wholly unwanted and would be avoided. Any plots involving him would be given the most minimal of priority or interest in favour of literally anything else.

Now, generally I try to live by the idea of not letting other people's shit bug me. Don’t let one persons words get under your skin. Don't let them live rent free in your mind, so to speak. Sometimes though, you just can’t; and this is one of those times. I haven't been able to shake this one. It's not just ruined my opinion of the individual, but now I can't look at a lot of my social circle without wondering who genuinely appreciates my presence and who's just putting on a nice face for the public while secretly wishing I'd piss off.

Now I know, that’s sort of the nature of the internet. I’ve had plenty of anon hate and “go kill yourself” messages from faceless nobodies over the years. That’s fine I don’t care because ultimately I know they’re some butthurt nobody who doesn’t like me and are just telling me straight up they don’t like me. But this is different. These are names and people I thought I knew and now I’m second guessing everyone I called a friend because of it. Which really blows.

For those of you who do enjoy my RP, thank you, I do appreciate it. But this isn't some post to fish for praise or compliments or what have you. This isn't about personal validation. This is me saying I'm sorry that I've failed to follow up with the people I planned, and still very much want, to RP with and thus explaining the root of my absence. I just don't know when I'll break this funk.

I don't want to RP anymore. But I want to want too. So I'm working on it, I really am. I'm sure I'll get over it eventually. But right now it's just hard to be bothered when you don't know who wants you around, and who doesn't. So for the time being I’m probably just going to focus on other aspects of the game, Real life, other shit in general while I deal. Again, to those I made promises too, I apologize and hope we can collaborate in the future. But for now, I just don’t think warlocky RP is something I’m going to be up too for a little while.
