Any tips for poor introverts who have to make a call (it's for my internship)? I can't find any masterposts about this and you seem so sweet, so I thought I'd ask you.
I totally hate talking on phone, so I feel your pain! I always think of the first thing I’m going to say a little bit ahead of time, so that when they answer I can articulate what I need clearly. After that just remember to breathe and try not to think of what you’re going to say next while they’re talking so that you don’t miss what they’re saying. If you need to take a second to think of what to say after they’re done talking, that’s fine! Also, put out any information that you’ll need to give them and a notepad to mark things down on before you call so that you’re not scrambling to find it while you’re on the call.
