With all the depressing news coming out of the US I thought we could all benefit from some good news out of Canada. For anyone who doesn't already know the 2018 budget is allocating 1.3 billion to conservation and research. As well as a 25% increase in money allocated to science research. This means if you do research at any institution that gets any money from the Canadian goverment for health science, natural science, or humanities research there is more money to go around to fund your wonderful, possibly world changing research.
