The issue of Black &White

As a nation, we probably have doomed ourselves from the start. As a nation, we classify individuals based on the color of our skin. Scholarships for being African American and successful, athletic programs scouting based off of skin and talent, neighborhoods and churches for a skin type. We as a nation place an emphasis on demographics, and it is destroying us as a nation. Our newspapers, media and social networking takes so much out on race. Articles with headlines of white man does so and so to a black man, where are the headlines of importance, telling us the news not hand feeding us this issue of racism. Our nation is so quick to pull out the unimportant facts to make more controversial issues. Nobody points fingers at the yellow pages of media written. Nobody discriminates against a paper for headlining a title with an individual's skin color. We read the media and do not question the legitimacy. Our nation needs to. The media is a brilliant window, but the media does not want us to get along. The media makes slews of billions when an issue occurs, they'll more than likely continue with the publicity. Our source of news, facts and statistics is destroying us as a nation. An education system set up to manicure the brains of intellectuals, has flawed us. It designates time to recount for events with little extending details of the situations out of the country, but makes us a great nation to discuss our own history. It avoids the mistakes and flaws of the country and continues on with nationalism and pride. It voids our wrongs and strengthens our rights. Our education system is only provoking our nation to its fall. The media doesn't want us to get along, otherwise it would only be able to report the boring details. Our education system doesn't want to educate us in a full circle. The nation is set up based on colors and stats, our nation is destroying us.
