Up, up and away! As the bride and groom were saying their vows while our team was buzzing behind the scenes. The plan was to have all of the guests tie a balloon to a miniature dream house upon entering the wedding. When the big announcement, “I now pronounce you man and wife,” we were cued to let our balloons fly away into the sky carrying our little house as the theme song from “Up” played. Soo, when you hit a kink like the balloons not lifting the balloons as anticipated by our engineer groom who calculated to the molecule, we had to think fast. First, I trued completely deconstructing and wrecking that house pulling, tugging to get the bottom plate off. The nails won. So thinking fast, I noticed a brown lunch box that was holding the corsages. I tied that baby to the balloons and off they went. Nobody could even tell it wasn’t the house.
