going to a halloween party dance thing tonight which means I get to dress as thirteen again guys I'm vibrating with excitement

last week I went to one and it was fabulous bc I drank TWO doctor peppers (I don't drink much caffeine so two is a lot for me) and I got to go to a DANCE and I was REUNITED with my BEST FRIEND and I felt UNSTOPPABLE

Thirteen trousers - finishing touches!

Look! They’re done! For only the second time I’ve ever made a pair of trousers, I’d say this project went pretty smoothly, minus the hour-long fight I had with my sewing machine over the buttonhole foot that ended in me just hand-sewing the damn thing after admitting defeat.

Total time invested this project - less than 24 hours spread over a couple weeks? Could have definitely gotten it done faster if I was under a stricter time crunch, but I also work full-time, write, help run / skate with a roller derby league, spend entirely too much time on tumblr and ao3, and have a spouse I like to hang out with sometimes. So, y’know.

I most likely won’t have the jacket done for the next con though
