I redrew Tavis to let his hair down and gave him civilian clothes. I thought that he wouldn’t care so much about modern fashion, just a simple T-shirt and jeans for him, that’ll do.

I totally messed up his hairline. I picture that he wouldn’t care about giving it a certain style; it just be down and slightly unkempt. If he needed it out of the way, he’d put it in a low ponytail.
