Sneak peek!
I’m super bored but really awake so here’s a story that doesn’t really mean much at all. Ahahahahaha, anyway, it’s under a cut ‘cuz it’s kinda long. Characters are all mine!
Damien blinked as he stared into the mirror. His eyes had dark circles underneath them, and he wasn’t sure he had ever looked so tired. His shoulders heaved as he sighed despondently, moving away from the mirror and towards the room.
It was a nice room, well furnished with a whole cot and a tiny little window. He knew that, behind the mirror that he had stared into for hours straight, she was there. After all those years of searching... searching... looking for something that didn’t exist, he found her. His sister.
She was as beautiful as the sunrise, with hair that could only be described as glowing. He wasn’t sure if it even had a color, it was luminescent in every way. Her face was soft and princess-like, of course, fitting her role. And her eyes... Even thinking about them made him falter. They were piercing, deceiving, and, yet, so innocent. Colors pooled in her irises the way paint would mix, incompletely and with constant changes. Her lips were always straight, they never moved. Her voice was nonexistent. However, her body was perfect, well built for a sport he disliked extremely.
He knew that he faced an arena with the rising sun. A daughter conditioned from birth to be a weapon would fight till the death against a son who wanted to escape it all. He wondered if she felt the same gut-wrenching pain inside. The thought that, someone would have to die.
“I’m going to fight for you!” He remembered saying. “One day, we’ll be brother and sister again!”
She had only stared, mocking, but distant. It was as if her mind was somewhere else, playing a game of tag with her heart. He wondered if her heart had been “it” ever since the game started, running, running, running away from her mind, the place where she had been broken, and beaten into the submissive, yet confident creature she was. It was terrifying.
He paced across the room, wondering at the cell’s lack of character. The window was fake. In the disorient state he had arrived in, he had attempted to escape through the small window, but breaking the glass with his powers. But to no avail. It only amounted to bloodied fists and an exhausted soul.
Finally, he strode back to the mirror, leaning against it and placing his hands on the glass. Cuffs wrapped around his wrists, ready to sent a pulsing wave of pain straight through his spinal column. If only she dared to press the button.
“I can see us all, you know...” He whispered, staring at the empty place he knew that she stood. “You and I, a family... and they were there, too. Can’t you see them smiling, Amy? They would be here if Natalie hadn’t killed- ah-AH!” The pain crippled him, sending him to the floor, shaking as he tried to focus on breathing. Between gasps of pain, he screamed, “She killed our family!-- ahh --And she’ll kill you, too, once she’s through with you-ahhhhhhh!”
His voice faded to silence as the world spun into black. He crumpled over, his body still shuddering with every shock that pulsed through him. Behind the glass, she stood, staring. For all that she willed herself not to feel, tears spilled from her eyes. The momentary window into her heart was uncalled for, and she steeled herself. When the time would come, she could be strong enough. She could kill her brother if it meant that, one day, she would inherit the kingdom that was stolen from them in the first place.
“All this,” she breathed, “to make a mistake right again.”
🎶 ... can you meet me in my room, it's the place where I feel safe, don't have to run away, and I can just be me ... 🎶
/BIO OF DAMIEN THORNWOOD.
// Hey Ace here the Mun of Damien so I’ve been getting questions about Damien that don’t make sense or have anything to do with him. So for you new people and old fan’s here’s Damien’s Bio
Name: Damien Thornwood
Age: To fucking old to count aka he’s lost track *looks like a teen*
Race: American
He’s a Demon
Damien was put to death via Electric chair because he murdered his Parents and two of there friends after his mother and the friends Raped and killed his younger brother Alexander. He was put under the wing of Alistair and tortured his parents and the other adults after he died. He became a demon and put under Crowley’s watch when he became a crossroad Demon he killed another one and other Demons were pissed. He started to kill Demon’s and do deals with dumb adults he hates assholes and kills them and also hates Angel’s like any other Demons he refuses to go back on his word or contract.
So he is not I repeat NOT the son of Lucifer! He’s a demon but his birth parents were humans and he became a Demon like others!!! He’s loyal to Crowley not Lucifer or anyone else he’s kind of friends with Dean who didn’t kill him when they met.
“Wait, let me get this straight. I go away for a few days and you guys decide to give away a bunch of awards? I mean, it makes sense. Competing against me for an award is completely unfair, but hey, now you’re all having fun and I’m feeling just a little bit left out.” Damien joked dramatically, the smug smile on his lips showing that the boy who never measures his own words is back.
Damien heard the footsteps behind her. The trees on the edge of the small clearing rattled in the wind but her ears were trained to pick up even the quietest of footsteps. She waited until they were closer before whipping around, guns out. She pointed them at the person, talking casually, almost friendly. “How can I help you?”
