My prior to listening thoughts of the album Midnights would be that of which it had the vibe of cigarette smoke in a dark room. or perhaps a bonfire at night; the surrounding air cool and fall-like. the leaves crunching beneath your feet as you walk. running at night with friends. driving at night, the lights reflecting in your mirrors. the smell of expensive perfume. the vibe of old books and fancy fonts. hand-written modern day letters. stamps. skirts and boots. big long coats. the fog of hairspray that fogs the bathroom when you get ready in the morning. freshly brewed espresso; more specifically, the bitterly alluring warmth that fills the air once it is brewed. fall is midnights. midnights in fall.
