Theres this norwegian science show for kids called newton, and the only specific scene i can remember is from the episode about pain where the host just straight up impales the skin between her finger and her thumb on a fishing hook.

There isn’t much comfort to be found in the motel bed beneath him, but it is WARM and quiet and a much needed reprieve from the MADNESS of the last few weeks. Flight and fight, flight and fight. Near misses, and close shaves. Even a mad dash to the hospital to save a life. 

Settling now. Easing up and out of the storm they’ve been LIVING for the past few weeks. 

Still, the squeak of a bedspring opposite him has his head lifting from the pillow, bleary eyes searching the room about him.
