Just started reading The Infinite Noise and I gotta say... I’m hooked.

When youre a little kid and some other kid likes you do you remember what you did? The two of you "got married" with a couple of ring pops at playtime. That's all it was. It was a game because you were kids. Kids and even teenagers will say that they're going to marry a certain band member or actor. Because that's all it is, a joke, a little fantasy. But right now there are children in other countries younger than you were when you said you were going to marry Legolas or Harry Styles, kids younger than you were when you "got married" with your ring pop, younger than that who are being forced into child marriages. Young innocent children being forced into marrying someone they've never met who is older than them. Being married off for money or trade. Kids. Domestic violence, world hunger, and things are all very important causes, but I believe there should be more people standing up against child marriages. Am I wrong?

i highly recommend you watch pbs documentaries, they are insightful and they tackle the hard hitting subjects around the world. they are all a really good watch about a wide area of topics! and really recent, like 2014 recent about Ukraine and Russia, Syria, american segregation in modern schools, ebola and more! educate yourself!
