Okay, so this isn’t really related to the larger parts of the season, but-

Can I just say I absolutely love how they introduced Callum’s dad?

Like, there are so many theories about him, that he was an elf, that he was a warrior who died, that he just up and left them, but in actuality? He was a poet. He was a poet with a sickness from birth and he died from that when Callum was young. He was kind and Sarai loved him. Harrow even respected him and I genuinely love that.

It also makes more sense that it would’ve been harder for Callum to connect with Harrow in the face of that. His dad wasn’t some warrior who died before he knew him, he wasn’t some elf that he never knew, or some deadbeat who left his mom. He was a kind heart poet who was born with a sickness that couldn’t be cured.

That’s extraordinarily tragic, but I love it.

A moment to appreciate Gongsun Yin's brilliant Changyu-inspired slapping tactics XD With musical accompanement this time! For a more theatrical effect (coz why keep it all in, just add some pazzazz to the darn war thing :D) Not so kinky now, are we, Sui-bro? He was probably enjoying it way more when Changyu slapped him :D

That man is a big softie and a scholarly gentleman, but he's a menace as a strategist, I'm sure of it :D Actually, in the cnovel if I'm not mistaken, he's not holding any official position in the military, basically just being a very talented confidante of Marquis of Wu'an and holding some immense power just like that XD He's such a neat character.

simon slowly losing his memory after doing nothing to deserve it but trying to help the girl he loves. wally possibly crossing over, refusing to tell anyone about it because he feels an incessant need to help everyone around him without focusing on himself. maddie being plagued with gorey nightmares despite having thought all the pain was over. white eyes just trying to remember the people he loved and tried so hard to protect. kyle realizing his body was forcefully taken from him for two entire decades. xavier mourning his and maddie’s relationship, wishing he could’ve been better for her. mr. martin grieving his best friend, wondering for decades where he could’ve gone, if he could’ve saved him.
