Are they as prickly as they look??? O.o You probably get asked that a lot...

The quills are sharp. However, if they lay flat against their back they don't hurt you even if you pet them. If they are angry/afraid they'll raise their quills so they stand pointing in every direction - then they can hurt you. I give him a 'quill massage' sometimes, which you can see here, and that doesn't hurt at all. People are always surprised how soft it feels when they pet him!

So whilst buying the iPieta app, I've also purchased an app called iMissal which was $4.99, has everything the book version of a missal should have just online... Also installing the Bible as well as daily inspirational quotes.

I filled out a card for this thing called Vocation Match and they sent my name/address/email/etc. to a bunch of congregations and some of them have contacted me. :)

so far i've heard from the Franciscans, the Benedictines, the Congregation of the Divine Providence, Sisters of Charity, and the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters. :) :)

Did you do Vocation Match? I did that in June and I said that all matched convents (like 170 groups) could email me so I was getting like four a day until August.

What communities/orders are you interested in?

Not sure yet. I just did a base "I'm interested in being a sister!" and I'll figure it out once I learn more, I suppose. :)

Prayer request from a friend

Could You Guys Pray for me???

I don’t want this to turn into a mini rant, but it might. Just so you know. 

I’m feeling spiritually dead. 

Yup.

Me. 

Spiritually dead. 

I missed my weekly Holy Hour. 

I need to go to Confession ASAP. 

I’m doubting my vocation. I don’t even know if I was created to do anything.

I can’t get excited about anything. 

I don’t know what’s going on with me. I almost feel depressed. Even the thought of LifeTeen resuming on Sunday doesn’t make me happy. I was super excited and happy thinking about LifeTeen and religious life, and woke up this morning just thinking, “I am not feeling up to par.” NOTHING has been bringing me joy today. I’m exhausted, which may add into it. I’ve had a weird two days, which also may add into it. But even the thoughts of religious life, LifeTeen, my lizards, NONE OF IT has been able to make me smile today. 

I don’t know if it’s Satan or just a phase or if I’m just having bad day, or what the deal is. I do know that I NEED to get to confession. I also know I NEED to get some time before the Blessed Sacrament (which I will get on Sunday during LifeTeen). I just feel completely separated from God and from grace and from joy. I hate it.
