Discovered a meromictic lake in Northern Ontario this weekend while on the mushroom hunt 🍄. ... These lakes are wondrous and mysterious like nature 🌲herself, with its turquoise tropical shores and shimmering waves 🌊. ... There is no oxygen at the basin and the layers of water do not intermix allowing for the perpetuation of anything that sinks to its depths. ... There were cobs of non-gmo 🌽😭 found at the bottom of this lake believed placed there by natives 2000+ years ago, that were in nearly as pristine condition as if you had plucked them this morning to make popcorn 🍿 for Netflix and chill (tonics and chill ☕️) tonight. ...
