Yeah it's just straight medicaid cause Colorado is different? I just got approved in January. I called two places on the list & then was like okay anxiety I'll get back to this. I might have my gf do it for me =/

nah, it's the new healthcare stuff.. they're keeping people on straight medicaid for x amount of time before allowing them to pick or be assigned an hmo or w/e. used to be instantly, i'd have to pick one or have 30 days and be assigned and they ship out the insurance card.. until then all i've got is this gold card.. but it works. u just have to ask. and... ugh i know anxiety sucks and i guess if u can get someone to do it for ya.. but it's not that hard. just get to reception and ask if they take straight medicaid. they'll either say no and u just hang up, or yes, and u have to answer all their questions for setting up an appointment... which is totally stressful too i guess, but.. i just.. i'm done sitting still, i'm ready to get answers/diagnosed and ether manage it or fix it..

a regular doc is fairly easy to find. gynos and psych is what i have an issue with? but i called around to all the clinics within 25 miles and found one that takes medicaid for women who aren't pregnant as well.. cuz in this county it seems it's only for pregnant women. which is such a fucking failure i s2g.. it's just a lot of calling around sometimes. and the way i do it is to ask right off the bat, "do you take medicaid?" and idk about u, but i'm on straight medicaid, my daughter was on medicaid united health. so sometimes they ask which kind of medicaid, and i have to tell them specifically. i had a few that took medicaid plans, the various hmos or medipass n such, but i'm not on that yet, i'm just on straight medicaid..
