Hey Joie! How are you doing? Honestly... not so good. It’s ok to not be ok. Here’s me thinking out loud again. There’s nothing wrong with me in general because I’m safe, have a roof over my head, and have access to essentials like good and water. — BUT I’ve been a little worried about the state of the wedding industry with all that’s going on with all the shelter in place guidelines and of course limiting events a certain guest count, limiting travel, limiting non essential workers, etc. I’ve just been putting the numbers together (in my head) and with no one booking vendors for events & weddings (especially a luxury item like a photographer) or being able to celebrate in the next few months, I really don’t know what else I can do to make sure bills are paid. I probably spend most of my days looking for a day job right now, something I can do remotely or an office where I don’t have to interact with too many people. This is my reality. Anyways I just wanted to share because I wanted you to know you’re not alone. It’s gonna be tough but I know we’ll get through this... so, don’t go out and join the rally’s and be smarter than others. See... I’m smart enough to know that I must stay alive for my friends, family, and of course — my clients who are defending on me to be there for them on their special day! Praying that my application gets through for small business relief assistance soon but you can help if you know anyone who’s getting married later this year or next who might be getting married! Send them my way!
