Reposted from @lgbt_feminist_opinions I know plenty of people will disagree with me on this but I'm going to post it anyway. I'm going to post it because I doubt anyone can tell me a reason why anyone would need to be a billionaire. And how anyone would possibly spend that much money. Whereas I'm sure most people can give the very clear reasons for improved healthcare and education. Why does a billionaire deserve that money more than someone who had to drop out of school, despite the potential they probably had, to work a minimum wage job to support their family? Why do they deserve it more than a single parent working to jobs to feed their child? Why do they deserve it more than an ordinary person unlucky enough to get ill in a country where they have to pay extortionate amounts to access basic healthcare. Why do they deserve it more than a child born into poverty, wanting to get a basic education and a roof over their head? I don't know about you but that doesn't seem fair to me.
