The slight pulsing at the top of my head always makes me more contemplative. What is it about a headache that can make a boy think more? Often I wish I could remove a portion of my brain for the night, as if being braindead were going to help me sleep more soundly...After some deliberation I am quite certain it would. My thoughts have been constantly rattling around my skull like they are 3000 or so racquet balls, and I am stuck with a stick to fend them off. No question goes unasked, and the half-concocted answers I somehow discover just cannot sate me. What is it about the early morning hours that turn a lonesome person on themselves? Maybe its the gentle peace and lulling quiet that the tail end of the night offers. The idea that there are a few other souls in this time zone, awake at this very moment, is somehow comforting. Naked and perched before my school issued laptop, I won't ever come into contact with these people. Every drunk has driven home, the tweakers have found a keep, and now I lay my head to sleep.
