13 - Who packs the other’s lunch and who repays them in sexual favours?Surprisingly, Red loves to play house. Before they started dating he delighted in bringing Liz lunch from his favorite bistros and diners. But nowadays, he prefers to take the time to actually pack her something himself. Liz always blushes whenever he sees her off to work with a brown paperbag full of a delicious smelling lunch, and a kiss pressed to her lips. (And even though she might grumble about it, telling him that she might just as well grab some lunch with Ressler or Samar, Liz makes sure to show him exactly how much she appreciates his thoughtfulness.)

14 - Who leaves notes in the other’s lunch and who tells them they’re dumb (but secretly has a collection of every note Person A has ever written them)?Much to Red’s delight, Liz is just incredibly lovely and sweet when she is in a (happy) relationship. He especially loves the little notes she keeps leaving in his coat pockets - nothing extraordinary, just simple messages reminding him that she loves him and that she can’t wait to see him again. Whenever he finds a new one, a blinding smile spreads over his face and his heart bursts inside his chest with all-consuming love.

23 - Who gets offended by the intensity of the other’s crush on a celebrity?Oh my, Red does. Liz watches a lot of television, especially when she wants to wind down after a long day at work. And - to his dismay - she gets this dreamy look in her eyes whenever her favorite male actors pop up on the screen. Red tries to be sneaky about it, but he secretly suspects that Liz might have noticed his occasional bouts of jealousy - because trying to divert her attention from the television screen by kissing her neck and gently lowering her back into the couch cushions while covering his body with hers, probably isn’t the most subtle tactic of re-directing her attention.

Exactly!! I want badass Liz back so much!!! (I have to say that I was a little frustrated by the end of s3 so I'm not really into these new characters yet. But I like your ideas for Kirk and I hope he comes out as a great villain.)

Frustrated by the ending, yes, but gotta remember how awesome the season was as a whole. I really only see people ragging on it (which makes me upset) but really it was a fantastic season and I’ve appreciated it more with a rewatch.

I’m hoping they keep up the pace for 4a though. The faster we get through the rescue, the faster we can get some downtime for a proper reunion!

Idk, if anything this preview confirmed for me that Kirk isn’t a “bad” guy.

Breaking it down: Kirk + Liz

His arms were down the whole time, he didn’t protect himself when Liz threw the punch

He told Raymond “of course she is” as if it was only natural he wouldn’t hurt his daughter

And then every time they talk there’s no weapons, hand cuffs, etc.

Oh man, what does s4 have in store for us?!

Amazing answer, l0vely! And I am constantly baffled too by Spader's construction of Red. Reddington is a work of art. And I was thinking the other day how clearly you can separate actor and character but at the same time they both have this pull. It's hard not to feel attracted to both of them.

The more I’ve watched of Spader himself (in interviews) I’ve found him to be almost shy, but not in the normal sense of the word. Like he has all the confidence and swagger of all the characters he’s every played (any why shouldn’t he??) but he’s also soft spoken and introspective it seems, that may be why I love Graham from Sex, Lies, and Videotape so much.

There’s plenty of similarities between the man and the art but you’re right they both have pull. It’s EXTREMELY hard not to be attracted to them both! Just look at him!!!!

He’s adorable and sexy af all at the same time. Blessing to us mere mortals.
