I legit almost bought those shoes at A Goth Store yesterday and I took a pic exactly like that while trying them on to show my friends, I had to do a double take lol (I went with knee-high velvet boots instead but I support ur life choices)
I also support YOUR life choices cos that sounds like a good purchase too!! Lmao I love this message!
63. five songs that would play in your club?, 40. weirdest thing to ever happen at your school?, and 98. favorite historical era?
63. ooo that’s hard i have such a broad music taste,,, but uh probably some pop music from 2000-2015. im not gonna refine my choices so here’s some from my 2000s playlist:
toujours l‘amour by gigi d’agostino (specifically the clubland 9 version)
from paris to berlin by infernal
reach by s club 7
5, 6, 7, 8 by steps
let the sun shine by labrinth
40. man that’s so hard, there were so many weird things. like there’s the odd occurrences, like the one time we got hit w a random storm and knocked out the power during lunch for like ten minutes and my friend almost had a panic attack.
or the time that my maths teacher had smth janky wrong with his foot and decided that it would be good to put his foot up on the desk and show it to a class of 30 twelve/thirteen year old kids because he couldn’t wear anything but sandals and it was v unprofessional looking.
or the tradition that my high school have of all the teachers putting on a show for the kids at the end of the year where they all lip sync and dance to increasingly weird songs. notable entries include the design and tech department dressing up and singing to greased lightning while my bald form teacher wore a wig and the car was a plastic red and yellow toddler car and the administration doing a fairly decent version of “i need a hero” every year.
its v hard to really nail down the “weirdest” thing because honestly a lot of my memories of school was just “well that was memorable” and i can remember it so very clearly compared to other things.
98. oh that question is so vague i sort of hate it because my answer differs depending on what the context is. favourite historical era to study? favourite historical era in media? favourite historical era for aesthetic purposes??? in general?????? unclear.
for study i really love learning about world war 2, which i know, is throwing up red flags but specifically i love learning about how civilian lives were effected. how they coped, what they did during those times, what food they ate and what their day-to-day worries were.
for in media? technically it’s not historical but i very much enjoy seeing things that are set in the 80s or early 90s. its right on the perfect cusp of no technology and some technology. like there’s phones and computers but mobiles don’t really exist and only massive fucking nerds have computers.
for aesthetic purposes i really enjoy the look of 40s/50s. mostly bc the big skirts and dresses that girls and women wore, along w those stereotypical cheerleader ponytails, y’know??
and in general?? who knows lmao i certainly don’t.
