Thondro’Thalas, That Which Binds Us
When Alorinis first discovered the great and ancient tree Elbethon in the forests of Quel'Thalas he secreted away it's location to protect it from harm. As he protected and nurtured the tree it sought to aid him, relieving itself of parts of its body from which mighty weapons could be made. On the eve of Nuellen Swiftstrike's promotion to Ranger-Captain of the Farstriders the great tree sought to give a gift to the defender of Quel'Thalas. Its roots drew forth from the ground and severed to give wood that a bow could be made of, one that could draw upon the might of Quel'Thalas' ancient forests and hold fast its defense always. Holding this bow would forever connect its wielder to the wilds of Quel'Thalas, and serve as proof that they did not stand ever alone in battle.
