The Bifrost Incident character designs!

Some notes:

Without getting into too much detail, the idea I had was that in the past the style was more of the 80s rock scene, while in the present it’s evolved a little into the classic Memphis fashion that we all think of when we think of the 80s. If, like me, you wish there was more than just Lyf’s outfit to portray all this, you can perhaps imagine the mechs prison gang decked out in the most garish 80s style you can imagine.

Music inspo: rock music! While rock wasn’t invented in the 80s, it was a transformative time for the scene, especially for hard rock and heavy metal. It was a little hard choosing the 80s as the time period without leaning in to the psychedelic shapes and colors, especially when my mom said it didn’t look “80s enough”. I did try to incorporate some of the Lovecraftian aspect, but I think I could have done more in that sense.

The fashion style is meant to be a mix of 1000 (Norse Mythology) and 1980s (rock scene).

what if we built a train together and then you became a terrorist rebel because I was a tyrant and I sentenced you to death but actually just erased all of your memories and put you into the train because you were really smart and then your wife (rebellion leader) and former best friend (government official alongside me) found out that the engine of the train is running off of some guy's blood and tried to deal with that whole situation but just ended up unleashing eldritch horrors on the train and you got your memories back and confronted me and I told you that the dream whispered my name and the void sings to me and then got turned into an eldritch snake being only to get beaten up by your former best friend. and then we all died. and then 80 years later some random traffic cop has to watch the videos of eldritch horrors on the eldritch horror train black box and then witness the destruction of their world. haha. wouldnt that be fun. twirls a strand of hair around my finger
