heimdall's soft "not even for you" as thor tells him he'd never ask for heimdall to choose between him and the realm but also very clearly plotting to pseudo-depose odin while he's at it, while heimdall claims he can't help him and then....doing all that. THE RITUALS ARE INTRICATE OH THEY ARE INTRICATE.
Thinking about a 5 times Thor went to Heimdall for guidance and 1 time he couldn’t fic (plus bonus TLAT scene)
1. Pre-Thor, a young Thor is scared of his powers and Heimdall shows him the stars
2. Post Thor 1 - going to the end of the bridge for news about Jane, Loki, and space
3. Avengers 1 - Heimdall tells Thor to prepare to go get Loki
4. TDW - Treason Time! Thor can’t trust anyyyyyone but Heimdall
5. Ragnarok - New King Thor doesn’t exactly know what he’s supposed to be doing.
+1. Endgame - all the things Heimdall would have helped with Thor has had to deal with alone
+2. TLAT - Heimdall and Jane discuss Thor and his changes
So now I just have to actually write it……..
So, this happened-
Sometimes I’m suddenly reminded how Peter/Ned and Thor/Heimdall should be elite ships but aren’t.
Irritation and anger often follows the remembrance.
like i know it won’t happen but highkey want taika to bring back heimdall with like zero explanation. he just full on pulls a gandalf (or a gandilf, rather). just shows up. NEW OUTFIT, RADIANT, GLOWING. FRESH.

Ya know what? I'm sick and tired of Loki. Don't get me wrong, I love him, and love some of his stories. But when I click on Thors name, there should not be more fics about Loki than fucking Thor himself. I want some good Thor content. I want a story with Thor, that doesn't revolve around Loki. Can we give the goddamn King of Asgard some fucking love, please.!?
