dislikes  causing  a  scene  in  such  a  PUBLIC  setting ,  especially  one  of  this  nature   (   one  that  doesn’t  put  him  in  a  particularly  good  light  )    –––   left  shoulder  is  pressed  against  the  expanse  of  the  locked  door ,  ring-clad  digits  twisted  around  the  handle ,  ready  to  grant  himself  access  into  the  bathroom  should  she  happen  to  slide  the  bolt  across .     that  didn’t  seem  very  likely  at  this  point   .   ‘  can  you  please  just  let  me  in  so  we  can  discuss  this   p r o p e r l y   ?   ’   tongue  is  heavy  where  it  rests ,  a  feature  of  alcohol  consumed  or  perhaps  physical  indication  of  guilt ,  either  way ,  he’s  not  accustomed  to  such  a  reaction .

we haven’t written a huge amount yet, but i love every single thing we have written so far ! i find ur writing and muses so engaging and the thread replies always flow so easily !!! life is busy but i feel as tho ur also always down to plot and all that good stuff, which… i am a fan of :’) excited to see where our babies can go !!

he’s  sat  in  his  dad’s  pickup  truck  and  patiently  waiting  for  the  other  boy  to  come  out ,  the  borrowed  car  parked  a  few  blocks  away  from  the  address  he’d  been  given .   music  is  playing  from  the  radio  as  soren  digs  his  phone  out  with  the  intention  of  letting  elliot  know  he’s  there  and  waiting ,  ready  for  their  date .   he  refuses  to  believe  that  the  odd  feeling  in  the  pit  of  his  belly  could  be  out  of  nerves ,  that  they’re  butterflies  in  his  belly ,  as  the  thought  seems  a  little  silly  to  him  (  being  nervous  for  a  date ,  that  is  ) .   but  guess  it  only  went  to  show  that  a  few  weeks  worth  of  talking  to  this  boy  had  been  enough  to  make  soren  actually  care  about  making  their  date  as  good  as  possible .   his  fingers  quickly  type  up  the  text  ;    ❛    i’m  here  for  when  you’re  ready    ❜    and  with  that ,  he’s  ditching  the  phone  again  and  checking  himself  in  the  mirror ,  quickly  carding  his  fingers  through  his  golden  locks  to  tame  them  a  little .   as  he  waits ,  he  finds  himself  tapping  on  his  thigh  with  his  free  hand  out  of  nerves  —  god ,  why  is  he  being  like  this  ?

Beck was already on the defence from the moment he’d heard someone enter the rundown, abandoned house he’d been living in for the last couple weeks. He’d run out of money again and he’d been running for what felt like a month from a coven of witches who’d followed him across the state. Finally, he’d thought he’d found freedom, even though he had no money and was too afraid to use his magic to obtain whatever it was he needed. Time was a blur these days, he barely recognised a Monday from a Friday, but every day he remained free from witches who wanted to turn him into something he didn’t want to be, at the very least he was content. Beck hadn’t expected to hear footsteps, but as an anger coursed through him at being found again, he poised himself in the kitchen, ready to use whatever was at his mercy to throw across the room at them. “Look, witch, I’m not in the mood for this! I’m gonna be running anyway, you think I give a shit about using some intense magic and setting off the rest of you? You’re not even gonna get a chance to be surprised when you’re dead!” He called out, his chest heaving with frustration.

For Minty, this was just another game. She wasn’t going to fall in love, she wasn’t living in some romantic comedy where she realised how cruel her actions were. She knew exactly what she was doing. She knew, sitting in that diner, fresh faced and seconds from bringing on the waterworks that they would stay with her. It was so easy to thread the needle of a new narrative for her. So, maybe she used some not entirely untrue details of her life, the best stories were spun from truth. “I just don’t know what to do. N-nothing is ever good enough anymore and I’ve... pushed away everyone in my life.” It had started small, getting to the point that whenever they saw her, they no longer saw their girlfriend’s worst enemy. Instead they were seeming someone softer, someone to pity and have empathy for. Minty liked the long con sometimes, though it was hard to do when she was playing by herself. Her hatred was enough to propel her forward. “I have no one.” She sniffled.
