Ugh, I have a vague idea for a Thorquillmora Wild West AU but it would require research that I do not have the time or energy for right now.
General Concept:
Thanos is a railroad baron who wants to build a railroad through one of the territories (probably New Mexico because of personal familiarity, cough, cough) and he tasks his daughter Gamora with helping him secure the land.
She hires a thief from the Ravager gang, one Peter Quill, to knock over the stagecoach with some crucial mail/intel that Thanos needs for his plans.
Somehow the Sheriff Thor Odinson hears about this potential holdup. He also has a personal investment in keeping Thanos out of the county since his own father Odin owns the Asgard Ranch which is somehow in Thanos' way.
Ego might be the territorial governor for funsies. Peter doesn't know that the governor is his dad but Ego sure as hell knows what his kid is up to.
There's sloppy making out somehow. It's all pretty vague still.
