“Hey, cliches aren’t that bad.” Her smile grew wider once she spoke, and she turned back towards the door. “I hope you don’t mind, but I may have brought him along with me.” She had left the dog with Lena’s assistant so she could see the girl first before bringing the animal into her office. She wasn’t entirely sure if Lena would even want her to do that, but she was about to find out. Kara stepped quickly into the hallway and took the puppy, holding it gently in her arms. Turning back, she started towards Lena. “His name is Zeta and he’s just under three months old.” The dog’s soft, grey fur covered the majority of its body save for the tops of its paws which were white. Half asleep, the pit bull appeared smaller than what a typical dog its age would be.
