Better, faster, STRONGER.

Honestly this is exactly what I strive for. Never let them know how much it hurt. Be better. He will realize what he lost.

You must learn her.

You must know the reason why she is silent. You must trace her weakest spots. You must write to her. You must remind her that you are there. You must know how long it takes for her to give up. You must be there to hold her when she is about to.

You must love her because many have tried and failed. And she wants to know that she is worthy to be loved, that she is worthy to be kept.

ive been awake for the past two hours thinking about why life yearns to be so distastefully sadistic. for these past two hours i have lost the ability to shake this numbing feeling that envelopes over my heart. i try to listen to a statement so simple as "love is love and thats all you need" but why does it feel so complex. i guess i just dont understand what is so wrong with loving too easily. why must it hurt to do such a simple task as love. i can wrap my mind around why people could be condemned for hate, but why love?

quick thoughts before bed.

so many others always seem to want what they cant have. 

as for me, i want so badly what i already have that i certainly wouldnt want to lose it.

and im thinking, why does the world have to be so complicated and cruel? 

not only to the person your with that you no longer wish to be with, but to yourself. its like you purposefully lock your happiness in a jar and toss it from one person to the other. you are the monkey in the middle. think about it and really ask yourself some questions. like wheres the satisfaction in playing the monkey? why do you do this to yourself?

if this is your mentality, i truly hope for your own sake that you never win the lottery.

she told me i was big enough

I remember when I used to sneak into my moms bed and tuck each limb beneath the covers as I held my breath for as long as I could. I used to pretend the lumps I created with my body would be the misshaped waves of an unmade bed. I realize now that in my attempts at concealing myself beneath the comforters I was unequivocally aiming to bury myself deep within the comfort of my adolescence. I didn’t want to get caught only to be sent back to the “grown-up” bed. I remember hating the thought of sleeping alone at night. Then, one day it became a rather mundane habit. Something I never questioned.. till now really. Makes me wonder when I grew up so fast.  Tonight I plan to tip-toe back into my childhood. My mom and little brother are sleeping in the king size. I want to be her little girl again. At least for one more night. On the plus side, the oxygen capacity in my lungs have grown over the years… I won’t get caught tonight. - s.
