“ so they get dinosaurs and i get dolphins ? ” he would have much preferred the prehistoric vibes rather than having to befriend a dolphin who brought him poisonous coral on several occasions. he looked like a goddamn fool trying to tell it to bring him the red, not the yellow. “ if i was gonna go down, i’d wanna be riding a mammoth instead. ”
Trembling hands hadn’t anticipated the coolness of the metal door handle. She was too wrapped up in thoughts about what was on the other side. It was the first day of training and Blossom didn’t have the first clue on how to wield a weapon. She couldn’t even imagine what the intimidating doorway held behind it and she wished she could run in the other direction, avoiding the cruelty bestowed upon her altogether. Fear was all she felt and it was so overwhelming that she could feel her chest start to tighten. “I’m sorry, I know I must be in your way.” After a few moments of heavy breathing, she noticed the other beside her and stepped away from the source of her anxiety. It was embarrassing to say the least but bringing herself to truly accept this was beyond what she could muster at the moment. “I don’t even know how to fight. If they needed a nice blouse; done. “ i shouldn’t even be out here at this hour, i know. ” with training just around the corner, liv was feeling a bit of pressure & stress. yes, she was good at what she did, but it was hard to watch tributes she’d trained go out into the arena. she couldn’t even imagine what they were going through. “ well, you shouldn’t, either... but i won’t tell if you don’t. ” liv offered a small smile, shifting a bit to move over on the bench to make room for them before turning her head towards the view of the capitol again. it really was something else.
